Hello, my name is Jaidyn and I am starting Care Forward to help get homeless people the necessary hygiene products. I have been volunteering with homeless people for about six years now and I have seen that a lot of the support they receive is food. Although food is a vital part of helping the homeless, I have noticed that other necessary items — like hygiene and feminine products — are often left unprovided. Care Forward provides care packages of hygiene and essential personal products to unhoused individuals in the North Tahoe–Truckee region — addressing a gap where food support exists but personal care items remain unprovided.
