Many people who have come to know or meet me always quickly learn how much of a cat person I am and how much I love my own cats, Cayenne and Enzo. I’ve been with them their entire lives (since both of them were 7.5 weeks old - Cayenne is now 12). Cayenne recently developed severe complications of her pancreas, liver, and gallbladder causing her body to shut down. I have had to start doing aggressive therapy treatment and the vet and I have been considering a feeding tube for her if her health does not improve.

Cayenne was diagnosed with Pancreatitis, Triaditis, Cholangiohepatitis, and Inflammatory bowel disease, which have all resulted in multiple overnight stays in the emergency vet. I had never seen her like this before and it breaks my heart. It would be an understatement to say that these have been super troubling times for me financially as I have now acquired and incurred medical expenses in the amount of $8,000. At the moment, this seems financially impossible for me to repay.

I normally don’t like to ask for anyone’s help, but Cayenne and I have a rough road ahead if I can’t afford to take care of this and free up money for her future ongoing antibiotics, steroids and follow-up appointments to be sure her that not only her lab work has improved but her quality of life as well.

Cayenne and I are asking and hoping for your help in this sudden health and financial crisis that has befallen us both.
