Hello, my name is Helen and I am fundraising for my 26 years old nephew Jeffery who passed away in January 2026 from cardiac arrest when playing football in the neighbourhood and has no family history of heart failure nor angina. He suddenly collapsed in the field when playing football and due to lack of experience from bystanders to deliver Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and lack of defibrillator in the Community of Uhunmwonde local government, Eyaen Eguaede street, I lost a young soul that would have been saved if only there were defibrillators available in the community and youth trained to deliver CPR first aid in schools and communities.

I am raising awareness in memory of Jeffery and a fundraiser for the family the loved one left behind, who are now emotionally and mentally shattered. I’m also doing a charity fundraising for defibrillators in Eguaede community, Uhunmwonde local government in Edo state, Benin city, Nigeria to save young people. Furthermore, I will also be raising money for the British heart foundation to extend research of heart disease and I’ll be documenting any amount raised during this fundraising via TikTok (3jays92) and Facebook (Lenjay Peters) to raise more awareness. Any donation/contribution, even sharing this with someone, will be greatly appreciated.
