Cara Lee Coleman Fundraiser

Prolific, local songwriter and producer Cara Lee Coleman needs your help to raise funds for alternative treatments for an aggressive form of cancer that has stopped responding to conventional methods.

As a single mother of two pre teen girls,

Cara had been living with this rare disorder since her diagnosis in 2018.

Until recently she had not only been living with the disease but has been thriving and productive. In 2020 she released her double album Abstracts and Anthems followed up by a nomination for MUSIC NL alternative artist of the year. 2021 she released Star Music Double EP, plus a side project Freudian Thumb, No Rules for RPM challenge and the band’s sophomore release Freudian Thumb, Rule of Thumb the following Feb for RPM. In late 2022 Cara released yet another full length, self produced, studio album Magna Charisma, and right on its heels in early 2023 she released her most current offering and 15th self produced album The Mirror.

During these last three years Cara has had the pleasure of playing live again with a band and even travelled internationally to play summer music festivals in 2022

Cara has also started taking on projects for other local artists and is excited about expanding her knowledge and experience in sound engineering.

In the past 2 months Caras condition has stopped responding to the standard treatment that has been working thus far and her health has declined rapidly. There are few alternatives to treat this type of aggressive disease. She and her family have had to look into alternative protocols and treatments not covered by her current health plan. Alternative treatments will hopefully lead to a management of the disease.
