I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.
I’ve gone back and forth so many times, but the truth is—we need help. And it’s one of the hardest things to say out loud.
As most of you know, Nate is our only source of income right now while I stay home with our four kids. Life’s been heavy lately. When Gracie was born with heart complications, Nate took time off to be by our side. He took another leave when I hit a breaking point with my mental health. We’ve been pushing through, trying to catch up ever since—paying off bills little by little, doing what we can.
We’ve poured every bit of spare money we had into fixing our car—thousands of dollars—just for it to break down again and again. Last night, it completely died in the Walmart parking lot. No warning, just gone. What’s even harder is…it doesn’t even fit all of our kids. Every trip becomes a juggling act, and it’s not safe.
Ella starts school in two months, and the thought of not having a reliable vehicle by then keeps me up at night. We’ve been told we’ll need a big down payment just to get into something dependable. We can afford a monthly car payment—we just don’t have the money upfront to put down, especially with how fast we need something. Our village is small to nearly non-existent, and on top of everything, we have to make sure Nate can get to work each day too.
If you can give $1, $5—or even if you can just share this post to get it in front of someone who might be able to help—it would mean more than you know.
This isn’t just about a car. It’s about giving our kids stability. It’s about making sure they can get to school, to appointments, and making sure our only income doesn’t get cut off because we’re stuck with no transportation.
I know times are hard for everyone. But if this reaches even one person who feels moved to help—thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, thank you for caring, and thank you for standing with our little family.
With love and hope,
