Captains Charity Tara Glen 2025 (Talk To Tom)

Dear Friends,

It’s that time of year again—our annual Captains Charity Day is set for Saturday, June 14th. This fun and meaningful event helps raise funds for local charities, providing an opportunity for us all to give back to our community here in Gorey.

We have chosen TalktoTom as our sole charity partner. After the tremendous response last year, we're delighted to continue supporting their incredible, life-changing work. TalktoTom, recently rebranded as Futures In Mind, is a volunteer-led organisation providing critical counselling services to children and adolescents in Gorey and throughout the Southeast. With no state funding, they rely entirely on charitable support.

We appreciate that this year has already been costly, so we're not setting a fundraising target, we hope you'll join us in raising whatever we can through golf participation, our raffle, sponsored tees, and direct donations.

Play Golf:

Our event is a semi-open team format—invite family and friends to Tara Glen! Bookings open on Master Scoreboard at 21:00 on Tuesday, June 3rd.

Attend Dinner:

Join us for dinner and craic in the bar after the event. Non-golfers are warmly welcomed! All profits support our charities. Book via Dylan as usual.

Sponsor a Tee:

Can't make it on the day? Sponsor a Tee for €50.

Donate a Prize:

If you can donate a prize—such as vouchers, hampers, golf green fees, or smaller items—we'd be grateful. We'll combine smaller items to create attractive prizes.

Buy Tickets or Make a Donation:

We'll provide a detailed poster outlining prizes nearer the event, and tickets will be available shortly after.
