Captain Steve Kurzbock and his family

Dear Fellow Pilots,

As some of you may already be aware, one of our most respected colleagues and long-time advocates for this pilot group, Captain Steve Kurzbock, has been admitted to the ICU with a life-threatening medical condition.

Steve has dedicated countless hours to supporting this pilot group, always putting others before himself. Now, he and his family need our support. His wife is currently not working, as she is caring for their two young children, aged 9 and 11, at home. Some of our colleagues in London have already begun assisting with food drives, hospital parking passes, and childcare.

I am reaching out to ask each of you to consider giving back to someone who has selflessly given so much to us. The funds raised will go directly toward supporting Steve’s family with daily living expenses during this incredibly difficult time.

We kindly ask that you refrain from contacting Steve or his wife directly at this moment. If you require any assistance or would like more information, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Pilot Assistance Team or LEC representatives.

All funds raised will be transferred to Susan to help with Steve’s ongoing medical expenses and family care.
