Capt. Rector's Recovery Fund

Hello! My name is Ryan Rector, many people have met me, many people have heard of me, but luckily for you though this story is about someone else! Someone way greater than most!

A God-fearing man that has dedicated his life to serving his community. Some of you may know him as a local business owner, or from Lexington County Fire Service, or Fire & Iron MC, or even his current position as the Director of Emergency Services at 1-800Board up, a Belfor Co., the list could go on and on! Despite where you've met him, you probably know him has Ret. Captain Robbie Rector or "Capt".

On July 31 ,2024 Robbie was traveling on his motorcycle, with friends, when he lost control and left the roadway. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, then by helicopter to a Trauma level 1 hospital. He went into surgery immediately where he had a vertebrae fusion and decompression of his spinal cord. Robbie is currently in Roanoke, Virginia in the ICU awaiting transfer to a rehabilitation center.

Robbie is well loved by his family, his grandkids, and his community. He assisted with establishing the Lexington County fire Service Peer Team for serving members in the Lexington County Public Safety To help with emotional support. He has dedicated his entire adult life to helping his fellow brothers and sisters, his community, and most importantly God.

As the family of a loved and divine man, it's our chance to repay him by donating to his Recovery fund. The road to recovery will be a long, painstaking process. Robbie, in one way or another has helped us all fight our battles, now it's only fair to help him fight his!
