Capoeira Solidária 2020

We are restarting our Campaign Capoeira Solidária.
The aim in the short term is to support social works done with Capoeira during the lockdown.

How:

We are reaching out to other capoeira groups and organising Capoeira Workshops that will use all moneys raised to help feed the    vulnerable communities in Rio de Janeiro. Starting with the ones we have already made contact but surely as the campaign grows we  will support others too.

Once the lock down is eased we will support the social projects done with capoeira according to their needs.

I am doing this together with other Capoeira Mestres across Europe. We have all been deeply affected by the pandemic but  what we can do is to donate our work to help feed those who are hungry now.

Brazil pandemic scenario is a horror story right now. A combination of recession, deep political instability and lack of leadership with one of the fastest infection rates in the world.

We have connections in the ground in Rio our friends are on the ground, in the front line living the reality. We are organically creating an infrastructure to receive food donations in Rio as well and all the  logistics needed.
