Capital Campaign: Put the T back in LGBTQIA

At Queery, our mission has always been to create a world where all LGBTQIA+ individuals—regardless of their gender identity—are valued, supported, and empowered. We’ve come a long way, but there is one thing we need to make clear: the T is not just an addition; TGNCNB (Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, Non-Binary) individuals are a vital, integral part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Now, more than ever, the transgender, gender-nonconforming and nonbinary (TGNCNB) communities are facing discrimination, erasure, and exclusion. It's time to correct the narrative and give trans people the representation and support they deserve. That's why we're launching our "Putting the T Back in LGBTQIA+" capital campaign.

We are asking for your support to help us rebuild, revitalize, and reimagine the future of our community. The funds raised through this campaign will directly support:

1. Transgender Advocacy – Providing opportunities for those on the TGNCNB community to share their lives with others who want to learn how to be better allies through the programs offered by Queery, like Queer Community Book Club and Queer Zen.

2. Inclusive Community Spaces – Creating safe, inclusive spaces for trans individuals to gather, find solidarity, and build community. This includes funding for dedicated programming and trans-led events.

3. Mental Health and Wellness Initiatives – Ensuring TGNCNB individuals have access to our unique resources such as our Queerphoria Affirmation cards.

4. Education and Awareness Campaigns – Amplifying trans voices and stories to create awareness, understanding, and acceptance. We're building an educational initiative to combat transphobia and empower allies to do more. And we are looking for volunteers to help us with this initiative.

Our community needs us more than ever. The struggle for our rights is not just about visibility; it’s about ensuring equity, justice, and respect for all.
