Capital Ballet's Inaugural Season

We are excited to embark on our first season as Capital Ballet, as the former Classical Repertory Dance Ensemble moves into our next era!

Capital Ballet is a DC-based, female-led non-profit with a vision for reimagining the lifelong connection to ballet alongside education and career pursuits. The company is a community of professionals in a range of fields that strive to create, maintain and allow to flourish a new space to pursue excellence in both ballet and their career of choice.

Management and leadership of the company are undertaken by the dancers themselves. The collaborative environment enables dancers to choose how best to contribute their time and skills to the full range of behind-the-scenes efforts needed to support the company each season. Fundraising is critical to support company operations such as space rentals, choreographer fees, costumes, and theater costs.
