On Monday, March 16th, nearly 70 talented, passionate and dedicated part-time, hourly, Standardized Patient (SP) employees that work tirelessly to make our front line health care professionals the very best they can be, were hit with a massive reduction or elimination of the "hands on" projects that they participate in at the Center for Advancing Professional Excellence (CAPE) on the Anschutz Medical Campus due to the COVID-19 campus closure.
These unsung heroes help train all types of health care professionals and learners to prepare them for the very health crises we are currently experiencing and for many, this work is the sole source of their income. This page was started as a plea to support these individuals with basic life expenses at this challenging time due to the abrupt loss of income. All funds will go directly to the Standardized Patients that work at the CAPE.

Thank you for your support and generosity! We are grateful for your contribution.
