Cannonball Run 2 — In Honour of Tommy Joe
Donation protected
As you probably know by now, Tommy Joe, has been facing into prostate cancer with courage, strength, and a wee bit of acting the maggot.
If you’ve ever met Tommy Joe, you’ll know exactly the kind of man I’m talking about—always up for a bit of craic, full of one-liners, smart words, and that cheeky grin that makes you laugh even when you shouldn’t.
This event will be no different.
I think something on the lines of this so at least those who aren’t sure will know
We’re bringing back Cannonball Run 2—a tractor run commencing from Kilbride Community Centre and ending at Rattigan’s Bar, where participants have a choice of 30Km and 60Km routes on the day.
All to raise awareness for men’s health and raise funds for a cause that’s now deeply personal to us:
The Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.
If you were around for the first Cannonball Run, you know what to expect:
Tractors.
Music.
Pints.
Having the craic.
And a community coming together for something that matters.
Prostate cancer is known as the silent killer.
But a simple PSA test could be the difference between life and death.
Get checked. Encourage the men in your life to do the same.
Please donate whatever you can—every bit helps.
Your generosity is truly appreciated.
Follow the event page on Instagram for updates, details, and behind-the-scenes prep.
Giddy up
