Canine Companions for Independence Eagle Project

Hello, my name is Janek Myslinski. I am a Boy Scout from Troop 271 located in San Diego, California. This fundraiser is to gather money to fund for materials and supplies for my Eagle Scout Project. This benefits the Canine Companions for Independence facility located in Oceanside, California.
The objective of my project is to replace old shelving and bins inside a storage room in the facility. We will be replacing filing cabinets that are being used to store leashes and harnesses, old wire shelving, and plastic bins littered around the room with an organized system consisting of Light-duty Shelving and new labeled plastic bins.
The cluttered state of the storage room for training equipment means that the trainers spend more time looking for the items they need then they should be. By providing this service we will cut down on the time needed to look for items to train the dogs which in turn lets them train even better service dogs for the people who need them.
My project will be done over 3 days:
Day 1: Cleaning and painting
Day 2: Assembling and putting shelving in place
Day 3: Any left over tasks/backup day
My fellow scouts, scout leaders, parents, and friends will be assisting me on this project by volunteering their time and expertise.
Any and all donations are accepted and all donations will be directly benefiting the Canine Companions for Independence Organization. Any donations that go unspent will be given to the organization as a donation to their cause.
