Candy's Field Play Area Refurbishment
Donation protected
Lympstone Parish Council, alongside a new group of volunteers called Friends of Lympstone Open Spaces, are working together to protect and improve the open spaces in Lympstone Village.
The play park at Candy's Field is our first project and we are asking for your help to raise funds to replace and improve the play areas.
Candy's Field is in the heart of our beautiful village, used by much of the community and so valuable to the village school, pre-school, hall, church and several clubs in the village.
The play park is looking very tired and in need of immediate refurbishment, a recent inspection deemed most of the play park and trim trail in urgent need of repairs or replacement.
Our short-term plan is to fix and paint the current equipment to make the play park safe, whilst we fundraise enough money to enable us to completely replace the equipment, flooring, fencing and trim trail.
With your help and along with funding from East Devon County Council, local businesses and suitable grants we can make Candy’s play park a place to be proud of for current and future generations.
Our beautiful village deserves a play park to be proud of, please donate in any way you can and spread the word, we really appreciate your help.
Best Wishes
