As part of CDRI's mission to ensure debt-distressed consumers have access to safe and transparent solutions to achieve financial stability, we are also committed to supporting organizations that aim to ease the financial burdens of such individuals. With the cost of consumer goods rising, it's important individuals have access to healthy and nutritious food in their lives. That's why for our inaugural Thanksgiving donation drive, we've selected to support the Candice Williams Helping Hand Foundation.
Since the organization’s inception 17 years ago, the Candice Williams Helping Hand Foundation has ensured hundreds of local Mansfield Ohioans have been served a free Thanksgiving feast. The organization also gives back throughout the year by helping people in need with household chores and everyday tasks, as well as meeting specific larger needs as funding allows; for example, they’ve given away four used mini vans.

As the organization and its mission have grown, they’ve received overwhelming support from the community, especially during their Thanksgiving celebration. Volunteers come from all over the area to help prepare, serve and deliver meals.
