Candela La Brea Needs Your Help

Candela La Brea is a family-owned business that has proudly served the Los Angeles community for over 40 years, guided by our core values of community, family and giving back. We never imagined having to close our doors, and even tried to operate as a takeout-only business to avoid having to lay off our staff. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough and we have completely shut down.

We have seen the power of what we can do together, and during this difficult time, we need the help of our community more than ever, so we can continue supporting our staff, their families, and others in the restaurant and event industry that are in need during this difficult time. 

Every donation helps as these funds will directly benefit our team members who cannot support themselves or their families right now. 

With your help, we will be creating and distributing care packages that include groceries and essential items to our staff, and those back of house employees in the restaurant industry who have lost their jobs during this time and are in dire need of essentials.

Independent restaurants directly employ 11 million people and indirectly employ millions more through a vast supply chain. If we are so fortunate to count on your patronage and support we can pass along the love to these incredible employees who have helped keep the restaurant industry in Los Angeles running from behind the scenes for the last 43 years. They need us now more than ever.
