Cancer ….you ain’t winning this one

Hi, my name is Claire and I’m fundraising to help my cousin Laura’s husband to be, to fight back at cancer and make every single day be what he wants it to be and not what cancer tells him how to feel.

Please take a couple minutes to read his story…

March 2023 - after months of going back and forth to GP with pain in his leg, including the additional symptom of a lump being present in his upper leg, he was diagnosed with Sarcoma tumour in his upper leg.

May 2023 - Kev made the very brave decision to have a full leg amputation - this being the option to get rid of the cancer as it hadn’t spread anywhere else.

Following this Kev has pushed and pushed more through pain, physio, mental health struggles, getting prosthetics, and so much more.

Now in June 2025 he’s been told cancer is taking over and there’s no medical

treatment good enough to beat it.

Sooo…what we want to do is give him opportunity to try everything non medical he can to fight it and everything he can to make everyday count. Plus explore potential treatments outwith UK.
