Cancer SUCKS!!!!! Team Lisa!
Donation protected
Dearest friends and family,
I am writing this letter to humbly seek your support on behalf of Lisa Longacre.
Lisa is a woman who is full of life. She is not only a warrior, but a fighter. She has truly touched so many lives with her kindness and love for others. Her gentle spirit and positivity radiates anywhere she goes. Lisa is an animal lover and a people lover. She has always lived her life to the fullest every day and is such a hard worker. She looks at the bright side of every situation no matter how bad things get. She is truly an inspiration to anyone blessed to be a part of her life.
Unfortunately, Lisa has been dealt with a difficult hand in life. 13 years ago, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. It started out as breast cancer, but it was very aggressive, and it traveled to several other organs in her body. As devastating as the news was, she accepted it, got a positive mindset, and fought like a champion to get it in remission. However, it eventually came back, but this time in her brain. This would break so many people down, but not Lisa. She knew she had to fight, not only for herself, but for her mom and all her friends and family. She fought like the warrior she is and beat it again. However, it left her with an unimaginable amount of debt due to medical bills and ongoing medical care. The cancer left Lisa with permanent physical limitations that require ongoing treatment.
Sadly, a month ago, Lisa was hit with yet another devastating loss. She lost her mother unexpectedly to a stroke. This was such a tragic loss for Lisa. Her mother was her biggest supporter throughout life and has helped her in everything she could until she took her last breath. Lisa will need to make many life adjustments to adapt to living without the support from her mother.
At this moment, the place that Lisa is renting has many stairs and unfortunately, it is very difficult for her to go up and down because cancer affected her bones. She uses a crutch to support herself. We are looking for a way to find a more comfortable and inexpensive living arrangement for her. She does not need any more hindrances to her cancer recovery.
This GoFundMe page is set up to collect donations to help ease the burden of Lisa's medical bills and housing so we can keep her home and comfortable.
We want to encourage Lisa and lend a hand to stay strong and to keep fighting so that she can continue to enjoy the gift of life. The support she has from her friends and family is beyond amazing. Lisa is surrounded by very kind and loving people, and this is what pushes her to continue living.
All donations will go directly towards bills and housing.
We hope that everyone can come together to help Lisa in any way they can to make her feel as special as she has made so many people feel. A little kindness goes a long way in this crazy world that we live in. Anything helps and we appreciate your consideration. If you are not able to contribute money at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well.
From the bottom of our hearts on behalf of Lisa, we thank you for your generosity and support.
