My name is Christina, from Petersville District in the Parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa destroyed our community, ripped it to pieces basically. My home and others are destroyed.

In just a few minutes, we lost everything: our roof, our furniture, our belongings, our sense of security. The place that held our memories, our laughter, and our family moments is now filled with water and broken pieces.

Yes, we are grateful that my family is alive, but our place call home is gone.

We are asking for help during the hardest time of our lives. Our goal is to raise funds to repair our homes, replace basic necessities, and food items for the community. Any amount big or small brings us closer to rebuilding.
