Can you help Kim Black's family?

Our friend Kimberly Black and her children are in emenient danger of being homeless and need your help immediately.  Recently, Kim has endured some horrific life changing events over the past 4 years. She has tried to maintain a safe and loving home for her and her children. She is currently unemployed and has completely depleted her savings, pension and 401k plans. Kim was in a mentally, verbally and physically abusive marriage during their 11 years to which two children were born. She gained the courage to leave her marriage after the last incident nearly ended her life. Her former husband held her hostage with an AK 47 to her chest in front of their children.  After escaping the last life threatening epsiode, her and the children went to live in a shelter until she could safely return home. She comfortered her children as best she could, while dealing with her own emotional needs. Upon returning home, her ex husband had stolen everything from the house including the hot water tank, both furances, all appliances, the furniture, and the children's money from their piggy banks.
Kim is a former Chicago Public School Special Needs teacher of 18 years who decided to seperate from CPS, when she realized that her well being and safety were comprimsed. She was physically attacked by her student, requiring medical assistance and emotional support. Kim has depleted all savings, pension and 401k and is in desperate need of financial assistance NOW!! Please consider donating so that Kim and her children can remain in their home. No donation is too small and all donations and prayers are welcomed.  We thank you in advance for any and all donations and prayers!!
