Hi, my name is Jordy Mclean, and am fundraising for my journey to Peru. I will be travelling to Peru in July 2026 when I'll be 16, for a four-week expedition like no other.

My time in Peru will be made possible by the global social enterprise Camps International who I will be helping in their fight to aid the people of Peru living in remote and poverty-stricken villages. I will assist in this mission by building working toilets for houses in the villages, deworming cattle and helping the local children by improving the school facilities.

As well as all this I will delve into Peruvian culture, enjoy local cuisines and experience being a part of their community.

Another part of my journey is a once in a lifetime 5-day trek to the beautiful ancient Inca city of Machu Pichu via the Salkantay trail.

As part of my fundraising, I will be organising bridge lunches, completing multiple open water swims (I am in no way a cold water lover), beach cleans and so much more that I will update you on throughout my fundraising campaign.
