Hi! My name is Chloe and I'm on a mission to raise money for my trip to Peru with Camps International. During my time there, I will be working closely with the local people to improve their basic living conditions like sanitation. We will be building toilets, greenhouses and kitchens in local schools. This is going to have a massive impact as a lack of education and poor vegetable growing conditions contribute to the chronic malnutrition problem in the rural areas of Peru. I will also be doing lots to help the environment, such as planting trees, recycling plastic waste and community clean ups. I feel this is such an important cause to be helping with, as over 50% of rural communities live below the poverty line and all I want is to have a meaningful impact on their quality of life. I also feel that it would be an amazing thing for me to experience - a once in a lifetime trip to Machu Picchu, being able to connect with different cultures, and help give others all the facilities they need.
