On the evening of June 8th, a fire broke out in our California home. The fire spread quickly, leaving only enough time for my parents to grab their phones and wallets before the fire consumed everything.
In a matter of minutes, our two-story apartment was reduced to ash. My parents have taken what they could of their clothes, and some remaining furniture, but there isn't much left that hasn't been melted or turned to ash. My room has left nothing to salvage - all my clothes, my books, memorabilia is gone.
But my main concern right now is for my parents, who are left without a home and without certain essentials. The funds made here will go to them, for them to use as they need. This means: clothes, food, hygiene products, kitchen tools, etc.
Nothing can 100% replace what was lost, but hopefully this will allow my parents to sleep a little easier at night, especially with so much of their situation still up in the air.
If you choose to donate, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. This is a difficult time for my family and I as we reconcile with what was lost, and focus on what we still have, all the while thanking God that we still have each other.
