First a little back story.  My mother’s family consists of seven sisters we refer to as the Hatch Batch and has grown quite large with all the cousins and second cousins.  Camping in the Hatch Batch tradition began 30 some years ago.  It began with my father getting my family into camping and it gradually expanded each year.  It is now a tradition for the Hatch batch to camp a whole week in August every year, and the motto is the more the merrier.  Including my family on both sides.  It has always been an inexpensive vacation we can enjoy with the family.  There is lots of fun to be had from tubing, swimming, four wheeling, and family fun around the fire.  Camping has become something all of us have learned to enjoy on our own and is a favorite summertime pastime to spend time at the lake.

Now for why I started this Go Fund Me page.  My younger cousin has a wonderful family now.  He is married with two children and he and his wife work hard for their family.  His son has a talent for music and a love for the outdoors.  His little girl was diagnosed with Dravets Syndrome as an infant after several heart wrenching seizures.  There is a fine line with medication preventing the seizures and having too many side effects.   Dravets Syndrome is a very rare form of epilepsy that begins in infancy.  She must be fed with a feeding machine and spends a lot of time in a wheel chair and needs special sleeping arrangements, so she does not injure herself.  I was able to give them a camper that worked for them when their daughter was young.  The camper however has grown old and to small for them to use as their daughter has grown.  I ask that you help me give my cousin and his wonderful family the gift of camping again, I can assure you there is no family more deserving of our help.  I would like to get their family a camper and modify it to be wheel chair accessible and create the special sleeping needs of his daughter.  I will do all the work and fabrication necessary.   I just lack the funds.  I would like to get him a used toy hauler as it would be easiest to modify to be handicap accessible.  If I have to I will convert an enclosed trailer and do whatever funds allow me to do.  So, will you please help me in getting their family camping again?   Any contribution would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you for your time.
