Campfire and Jeune et Jolie are special places. They are special because of the guests that come through our doors every day, and because of the memories that are made within those doors.
But mostly, they are special places because of the absolutely amazing people who work there. Our employees. Our beautiful, passionate, knowledgable, selfless, kind, funny and determined employees, who come together every day with servant hearts.
But right now, they can't come to work. They can't serve. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced restaurants all around the nation to close their doors. This is a crisis. Restaurants are not built to withstand prolonged closures, and our employees do not have the means to withstand them either.
We started "Camp Jeune", a takeout collaboration between our two restaurants, as an effort to continue to provide food for our community and a means to continue to try to pay our bills and provide relief to our team. Although that effort continues, the revenues simply aren't enough to give our team the relief they need.
So we are asking for help. If you can find space in your heart and your wallet to contribute to this campaign, it would mean so much to our crew of 132 wonderful human beings. People who have worked for years to bring you delicious food, drink, hospitality and service.
Our team cannot wait till they can do that again, till they can be there for you again. But for now, if you can be there for them, it would mean so much.
