Camp Billo Foundation

After 49 years, our beloved church camp is now a seperate entity from the parish of Immaculate Conception/St. Anthony's Shrine of Montgomery/Boomer, WV. It is now under the organization of the Camp Billo Foundation.

COVID-19 put a hault to Camp Billo from 2020 through 2022 and caused devastation to so many lives. Our loving God never left us without hope while we wondered through the desert but brought us to a fresh start for Camp Billo 2023.

With a lot of planning, fundraising and constant praying, we will be holding Camp Billo at Bluestone Camp and Retreat in Hinton, WV July 16-21, 2023

This activity will take place under the guidance and direction of volunteers from the Camp Billo Foundation. It is staffed by adults who grew up going to camp and who return to be a part to this uplifting week. Camp is held for children from southern WV, their guests, and children of our staff. All are welcome and included in activities such as worship services, spiritual encounters, sports competitions, swimming, arts and crafts, dances, skits, and campfires. Camp Billo provides three meals a day plus sleeping accommodations for five days and nights.

Since the camp began, fifty years ago, this summer church camp has been FREE for all attending. It is through camp that children that are not connected or have very little connection to God can see that there is an alternative to all the bad presence in today's society. Camp Billo has been able to continue through donations and fundraisers from the friends and family of our Camp.

However, through the years, donations have been declining. The increasing cost of the camp itsef, food, and supplied have reached more than $18,000 in 2023. We are asking for your support to help continue this fifty-year tradition in an area that can use a spiritual boost.
