Camp 2030 Youth Changemaker - Health & Well Being

Hi I’m Courtney Slater, I’m a second Year University Student studying a Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Criminology. I also work part time for a Psychology Practice and as a Shift Supervisor at MacDonalds. I’m super excited to be chosen to attend Camp 2030 NYC, in September 2023. I have always had a passion for helping people. I hope one day to make noticeable difference to the quality of people’s lives. I’m raising money to help me achieve my goal of attending Camp 2030 in New York.

Why should you fund me?

I have been invited to attend an event called Camp 2030. My application has been selected from over 3,000 applications from young leaders around the world. Unite 2030 has identified me as one of the top 10% of Changemakers from across the world who is taking action for the Global Goals set forward by the United Nations.

At Camp 2030, young Changemakers from all over the world convene at a eight day camp-style conference to think-tank solutions for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that empowers over 15,000 young leaders to take action to end poverty, inequality, injustice, health & well being and Climate change by the Year 2030. We will spend our time co-creating and innovating for our assigned SDGs at a campground in upstate New York. On the final day of Camp 2030, we will return to New York City to pitch our solutions during the UN General Assembly and Global Goals Week.

By attending Camp 2030 and being a representative at the United Nations Global Week, I will be able to enhance my leadership skills, make connections to help further my career and work with like-minded individuals.

I can’t wait to be a part of Camp 2030 and look forward to representing my University, Community and most importantly my family. Thanks everyone and I really really would appreciate and help and support you can give me.
