On the morning of the 3rd September, a devastating fire tore through the Morley Markets in Western Australia, completely destroying the entire shopping centre and wiping out many beloved small businesses. Among those was Warren and Kerry Forder, the proud owners of Camera House Morley.

For decades, Warren and Kerry have poured their hearts into serving the local community — helping families capture life’s most precious memories, and guiding budding photographers with their choice of equipment.

The fire has left them with nothing. Their store, stock, equipment, and treasured memories were all reduced to ashes in a matter of hours. Like many small, family-run businesses, insurance alone won’t cover the overwhelming costs of rebuilding.

Warren and Kerry now face the daunting challenge of starting again from scratch and surviving during the period of no business and no income.
