UPDATE!!! CAMDEN HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR BRAIN SURGERY. We will be heading back to OH on 7/21 and he will have surgery the week of the 29th.... Hello, I am Camdens mother. He just turned 3. We just recently found out that camden has a very rare, serious type of eplispy LGS. The children's hospital in our state said there's nothing more they can do and is transferring him to a hospital 10 hours away for treatment. We have one income and don't get any state assistance. We are due at that hospital on May 29th and will stay until he is better. Camden has lost his speech and other abilities because of the seizures but continues to fight everyday! He is such a happy baby and a joy to be around. It really sucks that he's been through so much at his young age. We are doing all we can to get him to best treatment possible. I don't like to ask for help but this is my son and I'll do whatever it takes to give him the life he deserves. If anyone wants to help with travel/medical expenses our family would be more than greatful during this tough time. Please keep our sweet boy in your thoughts/prayers.
