Over the years, I have taken the delight of putting stockings together for my nephews and niece. Several years ago, I approached the Camarillo Police Department to ask if I could make stockings for kids they encountered on calls. They were happy to help out.

I am excited to partner with the Camarillo Police Department and Casa Pacifica for the second year. About four very patient police officers will deliver the stockings to 100 kids, and the officers will stay and interact with the children for a couple of hours at the Camarillo Casa Pacifica location.

Casa Pacifica provides children with an array of services and has been helping kids at the Camarillo Campus since 1994.

You can make a suggested donation of $13 to fill one Stocking. For three stockings, a donation of $39 would be appreciated. Of course, any donation under or over that amount is welcomed. All stockings will have a gift tag listing you as the Christmas Elf who helped with the Stocking. If you would like one to be given on behalf of your kids, just let me know. I will take a picture of your personalized Stocking and send it to you. Thank you so much.

*Any extra donations will be used to fill more stockings for the police to hand out on their patrols or the kids at a food pantry in Oxnard. If anything is left over, those donations will be held for next year to prepay for school items like crayons and markers bought in August for next year. All donations are used for stockings, none is kept for administration fees, and all work done is by volunteers.
