Calpine Energy Solutions is teaming up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego once again! In years past, Calpine hosted a winter wonderland party filled with ice skating, cotton candy, and photos with Mr. & Mrs. Clause. Unfortunately, last year (2020) due to Covid-19, we were unable to host this special event but we still exceeded our $15,000 goal and raised $18,300. Because of all of your generosity, we were able to provide 500 children with a holiday gift.

 

This year, once again, we are unable to host the winter wonderland party due to Covid-19, but our goal remains the same! We still want to bring the holiday magic to 300 kids, but we need your help. Calpine Solutions’ goal this year is to raise $15,000 and purchase a gift for every single child. A $50 donation will sponsor one child for the holiday season.

 

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. They are currently looking for different ways to reach out to the San Diego community about their need for volunteers, specifically male volunteers and Spanish Speaking volunteers, to mentor young children all over SD county.
