Callum's wish to raise money for LauraLynn

During the first week of lockdown March 2020, I was about to cut my 2 son's hair, when Callum my 11 year old he's now nearing his 13th birthday out of the blue said I'm growing my hair to donate it to make wigs for children that have cancer,
I as his mum was blown away by his suggestion and he was adamant that this is what he wanted to do!
When he made the announcement to me I was unbelievably proud of him, I thought ok this might be a thing with him for a few days maybe weeks but I went with it and encouraged him in doing so, I did explain it would take a long time for him to get it to the length required he was OK with that so I took his photo and posted on my Facebook page what his intention was and that I would set up a gofundme nearer to the time his hair was due to be cut to allow for donations to be raised for Laura Lynn in addition to him growing his hair,
So fast forward to today Callum's hair is now nearly 10 inches long, with one trim to date to keep it healthy luckily he has good thick hair.
he has come this far and he wants to do such a selfless thing for children going through the worst pain and time in there lives that no child should have to indure its unbelievably sad, and hopefully his donations will help in some small way, I've had a good chat with him about what he's doing and how his contribution will help a child who needs a bit of a lift at a time when there so sick and going a very tough time,
As Callum's hair is getting long and he's still growing it we are now settling up his gofundme to raise much needed funds for Laura Lynn
