Hi my name is Ashleigh and I am fundraising for our good friends Callum, his partner Jess and their beautiful 3 young children.

As a result of an horrific incident at the end of April this year, Callum sustained a traumatic brain injury. Due to the severity of his injury it was initially not known whether Callum would survive. However, he has shown us what a true fighter he is and despite having faced various set backs during his recovery, alongside a need for further life saving emergency surgery, he will soon be reunited at home again with Jess and their children after over 5 months in hospital.

Callum was self employed, an exceptionally proud and hard working family man, who was the main earner for the family. Since this catastrophic event the family have been left in financial uncertainty and worry, with a mortgage and all the normal monthly bills to pay.

There is a very long road ahead in Callum’s recovery, but he continues to show remarkable resilience and strength. But it is highly unlikely that he will be able to return to work again.

They will need to adapt the house in order to make it safe for Callum, with Jess’s part time income, and in becoming a full time carer for Callum this will be impossible for them to achieve.

It is very much appreciated that with the cost of living, times are exceptionally hard for everyone at the moment, therefore any support or contribution (no matter how small) in being able to assist in achieving these goals for this very proud man and his lovely family would be exceptionally kind, during their time of need.
