Help Secure the Future of the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival

For over 23 years, the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival has brought people together through music, friendship and a shared love of Rory Gallagher. Fans have travelled from across Ireland, UK, Europe and around the world to Ballyshannon, Rory's birthplace, to celebrate a musician whose influence continues to inspire generations.

Today, our festival faces one of the greatest challenges in its history.

A substantial amount of festival funds collected through our former ticketing provider - Tickets.ie remains unavailable, €283,000 in revenue from 2026 has been denied to our Festival following the company's insolvency, collapse, ceasing to trade. While legal processes are underway to recover these funds, the festival must continue planning, meeting commitments and safeguarding its future.

Over the last few weeks, calls have been made to crowdfund, and get the show on the road for 2027. So rather than allowing this setback to define us, we are choosing to do what the Rory Gallagher Festival Community has always done before, Stand together. This has been an incredibly tough time, after what was the biggest Rory Gallagher Festival in its history. This Crowdfunder will help along with other financing measures, the legal challenges are continuing and you have strongly said to us to Protect the future of the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival.
