Call to Give! $5 Will Help a Dedicated Behavior Technician!

Donation protected
Hello Community,

I am a coworker, reaching out on behalf of a Behavior Technician who recently experienced an unexpected setback. While working closely with a young girl with autism, an instance of aggression—driven by a need to communicate—led to the Technician’s laptop being severely damaged as pictured. Repair costs for the screen are comparable to buying a new laptop. The company is willing to compensate her for half of the cost of a new laptop, but that still leaves her with the rest of the cost. The repair cost is $879 through Best Buy, and the cost of a new Mac Air is $799. She will be graduating from college with her B.A. in Psychology in May and beginning a graduate program this summer. She is in need of a replacement so she can continue her education and provide high-quality therapy to the children she serves. Any contribution will make a meaningful impact.

Behavior Technicians play a crucial role in supporting individuals with autism, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills. This Technician has been passionately dedicated to this work, all while balancing the demands of preparing to graduate with her undergraduate degree and transition to graduate school. Unfortunately, replacing a laptop is a financial burden she was not anticipating.

I am asking for 109 people to donate just $5 each!!! I am asking for a little bit from a lot of people to provide this young lady with the opportunity to both be made whole and to experience the power of the generosity of others. The gift of what happens when a collective of people come together for the benefit of one, even in the smallest way, will hopefully be a testament that she is able to recall when she needs it in the future or even share with others when she sees a need.

Thank you for your kindness, support, and consideration!
