Our hearts are shattered by the tragic news from yesterday in Canberra, where a beautiful four-year-old boy lost his precious life in a sudden and devastating car crash. In one unimaginable moment, two young parents lost the light of their lives, their laughter, their future, their everything.
This young family, currently on a Temporary Resident visa, is now facing the deepest grief any parent could endure—far from extended family, carrying unbearable sorrow, and suddenly confronted with funeral arrangements and unexpected expenses at the most painful time of their lives.
As Bhutanese in Canberra, this is a moment for us to come together as one family. No words can heal their pain, but our small acts of kindness and collective support can help ease their burden and let them know they are not alone in this darkness.
On behalf of ABAC, we humbly appeal to our community to open our hearts and hands. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in supporting the family through these tragic and unbearable moments.
May the innocent soul rest in eternal peace, and may the parents find strength through the love and compassion of our community. ️
Together, let us stand with them in their darkest hour.
