I'm partnering with @edgarraw to help fundraise and donate money to support California farmworkers. We will match the first $1000 fundraised through this effort. We are experiencing one of the worst California fires on record. Our farm workers are having to navigate COVID restrictions, shelter in place regulations, now hazardous air quality. Plus, many of them have been displaced because of the fires. We must remind each other that California is number one in agriculture, provides all of the United States, and some countries as well. We need to stand together and support our people. 

We've come to realize farmworkers are asking for a few things: N95 masks without open filters' camping items' gallons of water, flashlight with batteries, nonperishable food, and school supplies for their kids. 

We are coordinating with organizations in the central valley and Sonoma Country to help either donate money or purchase supplies for the farmworkers. They need all the help we can give them, just put it to perspective They need a mask a day and it cost around $36 for 10 masks. Let's support the foundation of our nutrition and let's make this happen fam. 

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone that's donated and helped reach our goal, we will be keeping the link up for a few more weeks. We've truly been inspired by the community support and kindness that we're pushing beyond the goal. So far, we have gathered supplies such as reusable masks, filters, water-resistant vests, garden gloves, and eye protection glasses.
