PLEASE take a moment to read this. We Helped over 150 teens last year!!! Please remember, THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE LATEST TOY OR GADGET; it's about kids who truly have nothing and who need to know people in this world care. We were able to help over the last few years because of your generous donations. Most people don’t realize that most organizations like toys for tots stop at age 11. So the teens are the forgotten group. In my opinion they are the most vulnerable. We want to help again, but we CAN NOT DO IT ALONE!! As most of you know, I am a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem. For those that don't know what a Guardian Ad Litem is, it is a court-appointed advocate to help the court make decisions for kids whom the court has custody of because they weren’t safe at home.A Guardian ad Litem tries to ensure the kids don't get lost within the system. We advocate for their needs and wants. We want to help these children have a great holiday season. So many of these children do not get gifts on Christmas, and if they do get something, it is not anything they want or needs. It was just something to be wrapped. I want to help change this, but I can't do it alone. There are so many children in and out of the system that needs YOUR help. These children have all been dealt a hard start in this world. All of them were removed from their homes because they weren't safe. Being a child, you shouldn't have to have the added stress of wondering if you’re ever going to get to go home. These kids are bounced around until their parents either get their crap together or the state terminates their parental rights. Either way, these kids have a lot to deal with. More than any kid should have to deal with. They didn't ask for this. They were just born into it. Please help me give them a great Christmas... Every kid deserves that!!!
