Cakes for Cops - Say Thank You To Our Local E.R.

THE PURPOSE OF “CAKES FOR COPS”
The purpose of Cakes For Cops is bi-folded:
1. The main reason is to say “Thank You!“ as a community,
to those who watch over our safety. They deserve it.
2. Developing an attitude of gratitude in our community
is none the less important. Our kids deserve to be raised in a community that recognizes and values courage and integrity.
If you are thankful for what our local emergency respondents are doing, we’d be happy if you joined us! When you donate as little as $5, you are buying a delicious slice / piece of cake for one of these brave men and women who are serving our community. (- But don’t feel like there’s a limit to the number of emergency responders you can treat!)
We usually present a giant “Thank You!” card to each one of these institution plus a personalized card and a piece of cake for each one of those who serve Yakima. When you participate, your name will be listed as a contributing member and it will be published on our sponsors list.
Every year we run FIVE “Thank You!” campaigns – or at least we try to!:
1. Easter
2. Memorial Day
3. Independence Day
4. Labor Day
5. Christmas and New Year
