Help Cadillac Advocates for Clean Water protect our communities from PFAS contamination! Cadillac, Michigan is facing a serious public health crisis — PFAS contamination has been detected in our local water sources. PFAS, also known as “forever chemicals,” are toxic substances linked to cancer, immune system issues, developmental delays in children, and other serious health risks. These chemicals don’t break down easily and are contaminating our environment — endangering not just our families, but also our farms, wildlife, and the ecosystems we depend on. PFAS contamination can seep into soil and groundwater, affecting crops and livestock, and accumulating in fish and wildlife. This threatens local food systems, natural habitats, and our way of life here in northern Michigan. Who We Are: Cadillac Advocates for Clean Water is a grassroots group of concerned residents dedicated to protecting our community’s right to safe, clean water. We are currently raising funds to support critical efforts, including: Independent PFAS water testing in private wells (Cyclopure at-home water tests cost $79, which is a significant burden for many families) Filtration systems for residents and community spaces (These can range from $45 to $1,200 depending on the type and size of the system — costs that many households simply cannot afford) Educational outreach and advocacy To raise awareness and demand long-term solutions Your donation will help us take immediate action to protect public health, our farms, our wildlife, and hold polluters accountable.
