Hello,
My name is Jim Girdner. 15-year-old Cade Walker is my great-nephew and an up-and-coming steer wrestler. Cade was injured on March 31, 2022, when a steer cut in front of his horse in a practice pen at his home in Springtown, Texas. Cade was thrown to the ground when the steer ran in front of his horse causing the horse to fall on top of Cade. He is in Cooks Pediatric Hospital in Fort Worth Texas. To date, he has not fully regained consciousness but is improving. Drs do foresee a full recovery but expect him to be in the hospital for no less than a month. Drs are saying it is a marathon, not a sprint and it could take a year for his brain to be fully recovered.
I humbly request that you contribute to Cade’s GoFundMe drive and also help by reaching out to as many people as possible by clicking on share at the top of this page. Funds generated will be used to bear the immediate expenses required to continue Cade’s treatment and support his family as they care for him. God bless you for your generosity.
I know we have an awesome God who holds Cade in His hands and the family earnestly covets your prayers. His parents, Joe & Shannon Walker are with Cade around the clock as we anxiously wait for daily updates.
