Cada Metro Conta: Ironman pela Inclusão

Quem sou eu? O meu nome é Guilherme e há 5 anos atrás comecei a fazer triatlo. Este caminho levou-me à decisão de me inscrever na prova Challenge Roth. Este triatlo corresponde a uma distância IronMan (3.8Km natação | 180Km bicicleta | 42Km corrida) e irá acontecer no dia 7 de Julho de 2024. Para lá deste esforço e superação pessoal, lembrei-me que podia fazer algo mais com isso. Por isso decidi ajudar alguém da minha comunidade local e escolhi a CERCIOEIRAS .

A CERCIOEIRAS tem como objetivo a defesa incondicional dos Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência e/ou Incapacidade, apoiando a sua participação e integração na vida social e profissional, promovendo o exercício pleno da sua cidadania através de um conjunto integrado de ações e serviços, que dedica seus esforços a ajudar pessoas com deficiências.

Porquê “Cada Metro Conta”? Cada metro que vou percorrer durante os 226 km desta prova gostava que tivesse um significado especial. Não é apenas o meu desafio, mas também uma oportunidade de promover a inclusão e a igualdade.

A integração das pessoas com deficiência é fundamental para construir uma sociedade mais justa e empática. Ao nadar, pedalar e correr, espero passar a mensagem que todos que somos capazes de superar desafios e que cada um de nós pode fazer a diferença.

Como podem ajudar? A minha proposta é que cada metro que eu percorra corresponda a uma doação: 1€ equivale a 100m, 10€ equivale a 1 Km. Podem dar menos, podem dar mais. No final cada euro conta e podem fazer a diferença.

Hello everybody!

Who am I? My name is Guilherme and 5 years ago I started doing triathlon. This path led me to the decision to sign up for the Challenge Roth test. This triathlon corresponds to an IronMan distance (3.8Km swimming | 180Km cycling | 42Km running) and will take place on July 7, 2024. In addition to this effort and personal overcoming, I remembered that I could do something more with this. That's why I decided to help someone in my local community and chose CERCIOEIRAS .

CERCIOEIRAS aims to unconditionally defend the Rights of People with Disabilities and/or Disabilities, supporting their participation and integration in social and professional life, promoting the full exercise of their citizenship through an integrated set of actions and services, which it dedicates their efforts to help people with disabilities.

Why “Every Meter Counts”? Every meter that I cover during the 226 km of this race I would like to have a special meaning. It is not only my challenge, but also an opportunity to promote inclusion and equality.

The integration of people with disabilities is fundamental to building a more just and empathetic society. By swimming, cycling and running, I hope to send the message that we are all capable of overcoming challenges and that each of us can make a difference.

How can you help? My proposal is that every meter I do corresponds to a donation: €1 is equivalent to 100m, €10 is equivalent to 1 km. You can give less, you can give more. In the end, every euro counts and can make a difference.
