Hi, my name is Kaitlind. I’m a hard working mom of three incredible boys and I’m reaching out with something I never thought I’d have to ask for - help getting us back on the road.

Last fall, I made a decision that came from the best of intentions - but ended in deep regret. I gave up an important car payment to help fund a Hurricane Helene outreach event, fully believing we would be reimbursed in time. It’s a decision we’ve had to live with every day since then. No matter how good my intentions were, it left a lasting negative impact on our little family. I believed in the mission. Still do. But I also believed that doing something good for others would somehow circle back.

We made that event happen and will never regret helping, but it cost us so much.

Since that decision, we’ve been navigating life without our own vehicle. It hasn’t been easy, but thanks to family and working around busy schedules, we’ve made it work to make sure my boys are where they need to be.

Still, not having reliable transportation makes everything a bit harder - from work, to errands and outings, to managing appointments for my kiddos.

A vehicle isn’t about convenience.. it’s about restoring margin and the ability to keep showing up for my family.

I work hard, every single day, to take care of my guys and keep everything running. I homeschool, freelance design work (working around our schedules), run a nonprofit that supports other moms, and handle all the day-to-day independently. I’m careful with stretching dollars and do my best to grow what we have, but let’s be honest.. saving up for something big like a car in this economy is tough, especially with three growing kids, real life bills, and occasional unexpected expenses.

I’ve explored every option.. used vehicles, financing, support programs - and what’s standing in the way right now is the down payment. Without a cosigner, I’m required to put more money down upfront just to qualify for a safe, dependable vehicle.

We’re not looking for anything flashy, just a reliable vehicle that can carry us to doctor visits, co-op days, work, and everything that matters in our lives. A car means a little more freedom. A car means added safety. A car means we can keep growing.

Normally, I *hate* asking for help. I’m usually the one people come to. I’m a helper, a giver, the one who finds a way.

But I’ve learned that asking for help doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re brave enough to fight for your family with every tool you have.. including your voice.

So here I am, doing something hard because the need is real.

What the funds will help cover:
• Down payment for a reliable used vehicle (no cosigner required)
• Title, tax, and registration fees
• First month of insurance
• Emergency roadside kit and car seat transfer
• Any remaining funds will support upkeep and repairs, or even be returned.

If you’ve ever seen me show up for others.. serve, build, create, or pour into families who had nothing - you’ve seen my heart. I’ve done it while carrying more than most people ever knew.

Now I’m asking - if you have it in your heart or financial capabilities, to help carry us through this chapter.

Every donation, every share, every word of encouragement and prayer matters more than I can explain.

With all my heart,
Kaitlind & the boys
