Mike's Trip to Standing Rock

I have devised a plan to make it to North Dakota, to stand with the water protectors. I will be leaving Connecticut on Nov 22nd, 2016 to deliver atleast 1 pickup truck of winter supplies to the water protectors. Hopefully we will have enough donations to take a second truck, possibly a third. As of today I have two other people making this trip with me. I'm hoping for a tremendous amount of support from you all.
Support comes in many shapes and forms. It doesn't take large monetary donations to make a difference. Every dollar helps. As it stands right now, thru a few donations, and what I could add, we have raised enough funds for the first truck ( donated by one of the people going) to make it there and back. The plan with the money raised, is to help cover expenses on the trip. If we reach our goal we will be renting another vehicle to load more supplies for the water protectors.
We will also be accepting donations of tents, sleeping bags, winter jackets, blankets, canned food, and water. All donations can be dropped off at any of the drop points. I will put a list of drop points at the end of this. I will add more if they become available.
I know that a lot of you want to be making the journey with me, but cannot. I simply ask that you help me however you can. Got a spare 10 dollars? No? Ok. Got a spare 5 dollars? No? That's ok to. Got a spare dollar? No? That's ok as well. Even if you cannot make a monitory donation, you can still help. Got a old sleeping bag, tent, blanket, or winter jacket? Drop it off at a drop point. Help me spread the word is another way you can help me. Please tell your friends, family, and even strangers. We only need 2000 people to make a 1 dollar donation to reach out goal. Again if we reach our goal, all money will be added to buying extra supplies for the water protectors who will be standing their ground thru the harsh winter ahead. If needed it will also go towards more vehicles making it to the front lines.
