My name is Estrella Ramirez, and my mom, Blanca Aguilar, has been living in the United States for over 22 years. She came here to build a better life and has spent her life working hard and raising five U.S. citizen children. She has never been in trouble with the law and has always given back to her community with love, faith, and kindness.

Recently, she was taken to an immigration detention center “El Valle Detention Center”. Our family is doing everything we can to bring her home.

My mom’s heart is bigger than her circumstances — even while in detention, she talks about wanting to help others who are also separated from their families and can’t afford to pay their bond. She told us how one of the women there received a 7,500$ bond and broke down because she’s a mom who just wants to go back to her little children. My mom said it broke her heart — and that’s when she told us she wants to help others, not just herself.

That’s why this fundraiser isn’t just for her — it’s to help her and others like her regain their freedom and reunite with their loved ones.

Every donation will go toward:

• Paying my mom’s immigration bond

• Helping others in detention pay their bond or get legal help

• Covering essential legal and travel costs so families can be together again
