Hi! It's Team Duddy, Elozor and Moishy.

One week ago, Duddy asked us if we would like to join him as a team to take on the Tough Mudder challenge for Aliyah. What we didn’t know was that the very next day, during a hike, he would suffer a fall and end up in an induced coma. Duddy won’t be able to complete the challenge with us but we’re determined to finish it for him.

We're doing this not only in support of Aliyah, a cause that meant so much to Duddy, but also as a tribute to his strength, courage, and heart. Every step we take in this challenge will be with him in mind, and we hope you'll support us and him by donating generously.

Let’s show Duddy we’re still a team. Let’s finish what he started.

On Sunday 27th July we will be taking part in Tough Mudder.

We will be taking on this challenge to help bring awareness and support to the forever-growing challenges that the youth in our community are facing.

Aliya has helped empower many young people to be able to face and overcome the challenges in their lives.

And every donation will help.

Aliya was set up in 2019 after 4 young tragedies. Since then, and especially post-covid with more challenging mental health issues emerging, the services Aliya provides are becoming ever more critical.

They provide therapy, support, interventions, and recovery programmes for youth over each week, numbering well over 150.

They are literally saving lives. Working at the sharp edge of youth work, regularly dealing with issues of abuse, suicide, addiction, trauma, etc. Their staff are dedicated around the clock to handling the highest levels of crisis and are often making life-and-death decisions.

Apart from outreach and therapy, they have set up a safe space for young people to meet, crash, chill, play eat, and provide emergency sleeping accommodations when necessary, in crisis. They have weekly events and programs and provide educational workshops for children and parents as well as suicide awareness to many in the education sector.

Aliya is inundated with requests from people who desperately need their help. The costs to run the centre and the programmes have shot up. Gas, electricity, fuel, staff, as well as therapy costs have all escalated. They don't want to turn anyone away. They desperately need more funds to match the demand.

The money raised will be used to help them provide further education, awareness, and adequate support for everyone who needs it. Please join me to help to give everyone in our community the opportunity and chance of a brighter and secure future.
