Financial Hardship

Hi I am fundraising for LaKeesha Murray, our cousin who has been fighting Triple Negative Breast Cancer; BRCA 1 gene mutation for many years. She has a lot of health issues and has had paralysis in right arm since 2019...

Recently, her social security was halted because she was given a overpayment. She now owes due to misinformation: They originally told her that she could work six months and still receive benefits at the same time. Some years later after receiving her benefits, they decided someone in Social Security told her the wrong information. Now, they are levying her SS benefits.

LaKeesha is behind in paying her rent and is in jeopardy of losing the roof over her and her children's head.

Her youngest daughter Aaliyah is in gymnastics, and that too is in jeopardy because she can no longer afford to pay for it. Her only son Lamar, it's his last year in school and he's trying to help out as much as he can by looking for a job. He helps around the house and massages his mom's arm.

Her oldest daughter, Alexis just had a baby and is out on maternity leave, but she's trying to go back early to help out as well. She cooks for everyone in the house.

They are all a blessing to their mom and I know she adores them very much.

Any help for her (them) would be greatly appreciated.
