Hi, my name is Ellissa Laird, and I’m reaching out for help for my mom, Leonie Laird, a 58-year-old amazing woman who has devoted her life to serving others.

A little backstory: I grew up in my father’s church, as both my parents are pastors. In 2020, my parents separated due to my father falling out of love with my mom and engaging in unfaithful acts. Since then, my mom has been solely responsible for our home’s mortgage, bills, groceries, and everything else that keeps our household running. Now with inflation and bills getting worse, it has become almost impossible for her to manage.

Right now, we are facing an urgent crisis. We were planning to move by April 1st, but unexpected issues have delayed us, and we now need an extra month’s mortgage payment—$5,000—to prevent losing our home. If we don’t raise this amount, we risk becoming homeless with nowhere to go.

Despite everything, my mom has never lost her faith or her heart for serving others. She continues to pastor online, pour into people’s lives daily, and uplift those around her. Now, she needs someone to pour into her.
