High School Art Lessons for the Elderly
Donation protected
Palette of Positivity is a group of volunteer high schoolers who seek to use their art to positively impact the community. There are currently over 20 members who are eager to paint and donate to elderly homes and hospitals. Our mission is to use our art to positively impact vulnerable people in the San Jose community.
**note: photos of our elderly members will be blocked out because many of them are from memory care and would need their families to approve and sign a contract of public photos of them.
WHAT WE DO:
We teach in person hands-on art lessons at Watermark Almaden senior home. So far, we have had one art lesson and hope to continue to forge a tighter community through our shared passion of service and art.
All donations will go directly to funding our art supplies. People who donate will receive progress emails with photos of our artwork for that month.
20% of donations go to paint
30% of donations go to purchasing canvases and easels (of all sizes)
20 % go to felt, holiday decoration materials, ornaments and more
30% go to funding our website
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!
